SCS has benefited immensely from the support of library partners and early-stage customers. These libraries shared data, reviewed collection summaries and candidate lists, and provided valuable feedback. We wish to publicly acknowledge their assistance and to thank them for their efforts.  SCS Data Partners

Data, of course, is the foundation of data-driven deselection. In addition to the bibliographic, circulation, and item data provided by library customers, SCS has been granted access to information on library holdings, existence of digital surrogates, and authoritative title lists. Here again, we wish to acknowledge our data partners and thank them for providing API access and in some cases the data itself. It is the combination of data from these sources and library circulation data that gives SCS its power and efficiency.
